Golem

golem

Golem is a two component injection product, intended for cavity filling, air and gas sealing and the consolidation of highly fractured strata. Golem is applied using a metering pump and mixing gun.

The mixing of resin and catalyst, in a volume ratio of 4 to 1, produces an immediate foaming reaction, followed by a rapid expansion of the product to as much as 30 times its original volume. After expansion Golem sets hard in just a few minutes. The special properties of Golem (rapid application, high expansion rate, high compressive strength, fire resistance and excellent antistatic properties) produce a cost effective, quick and safe cavity filling solution.

Perseus Shield

Perseus Shield is a liquid synthetic polymer for mud-pack treatment during land drilling and civil engineering. It has high molecular weight and is formulated with special co-polymers such as acrilamide and sodium acrylate.

It is as translucent milky liquid with medium viscosity, is extremely easy to disperse in water.

When hydrolyzed, it results in clear and highly viscous solutions.

It should be stored at temperatures ranging from 5 to 50° C.

Perseus Shield can be applied to boreholes, horizontal perforations, micro-tunnels, baffles, borepoles, clarification of water discharge and for stabilization of foams.

Advantages

  • High power lubricant battery against drilling that reduces friction and wear torsion.
  • Drills successfully, faster and deeper through tight pressure windows.
  • It minimizes the risk of fracturing the formation and causing down-hole mud losses.
  • Is non-toxic and non-flammable.
  • Greater production and longer productive life of tunnels.
  • Maintains optimal hole cleaning viscosity, even in cold ocean depths
  • Useful as a thickener and stabilizing foam.

Mermaid

Two-component polyurethane injection foaming-resin, self-extinguishing, ensuring high reactivity, excellent mechanical strength and chemical stability; designed for waterproofing and consolidation of rocks, friable land and structures affected by high-pressure water, as well as to convey water in aquifers and fill voids and cavities.

Application Area

  • Tunnels: waterproofing of major water infiltrations through block fissures or joints
  • Dams and hydraulic works: repair/sealing of fissures (even in the presence of aquifers)
  • Wells: waterproofing/sealing of joints, fissures and cracks in the event of major water losses
  • Air gaps: sealing and insulation
  • Sub-foundations: waterproofing
  • Friable and loose land: consolidation
  • Walls and masonry: waterproofing underneath aquifers
  • Coal mines: consolidation, waterproofing, gas sealing

Method

  • The two components of Mermaid must be mixed together using a pump for two-component resins with a static helix mixer. The mixing ratio is 1:1 by volume. After mixing, Mermaid is injected continuously through the fissure. While the two components are mixed, viscosity increases substantially to avoid separation or wash-out of the injected material by pressurized water.
  • Make sure that the diameter of the holes drilled next to the fissure to be sealed is suitable for the dimensions of the injectors used. We recommend the use of expansion injectors with non-return (check) valves (packers).
  • For application below 15°C, we suggest the use of 0.5-1% of catalyst K2 (accelerator), while for application below 0°C, store product and pump in container at least at 15°C for 24 hours, and use special heated mantle covered piping to inject the resin.
  • In contact with water the product starts to react and foams up. The continuous ingress of resin displaces the existing water and the resin forms a water-tight shell.

Fetter Resin Capsules

fetter resin capsules

Fetter Resin Capsule are normally used as an anchoring support in strata where larger annular gaps between bolt and hole diameters are encountered with long tendon strand cables.

Fetter Resin Capsule was developed to allow bolts, in a variety of lengths, to be grouted and anchored in one simple operation, without the need for injection equipment.

Applications

Fetter Resin Capsules size varies as per the diameter of anchor bolt and bore hole. A minimal annular gap of 3 mm is ideal to annihilate the foil which initiates the mixing of the resin and hardener.

The borehole is drilled and filled with the Fetter Resin Capsules. The bolt is then inserted through the resin by pushing and spinning. This facilitates breaking of the capsule and mixing of the components. After reaching the end of bore hole the anchor setting mechanism has to remain immobile while the resin starts hardening.

The setting time depends on the temperature of capsule and rock as well as on the energy induction by inserting the bolt. Capsules with different setting times, lengths and diameters are available.

  • The product is free of CFCs and hence eco-friendly.
  • The product has an option of complete or partial bonding.
